Key Responsibilities
As a Senior or Principal Statistical Programmer at Veramed, you'll have varied responsibilities and the opportunity to shape your role. Daily tasks may include:
R Programming & Leadership:
- Act as an R Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Statistical Programming team.
- Support the uptake of R across the department, promoting best practices and training.
- Create and QC reusable outputs and figures in R that can be integrated into Shiny apps by the Data Science team.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on R-based solutions, while maintaining SAS proficiency.
Daily Interactions:
- Communicate with study team members and client contacts.
- Share updates internally and in client meetings.
- Collaborate with the Veramed team to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Provide mentoring and programming expertise as needed.
Opportunities for Growth
- Lead programmer or technical expert roles.
- Experience across various therapeutic areas and clinical phases.
- Present at industry conferences.
- Engage in peer mentoring and/or line management.
- Develop innovative solutions for study reporting.

Beneficial Experience
- Knowledge of the clinical drug development process and relevant disease areas.
- Awareness of industry standards and ICH guidelines.
- Experience working to CDISC Standards.
