Quotation/Process Engineer in El Paso
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
\n
Responsible for Wire Extrusion quotation and process engineering activities.
\n
● Maintain close communication with the PQC Department, Sourcing, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Customer Service, and General Plant Manager.
\n
● Understanding Customer and UL/CSA requirements.
\n
● Processing quotes for wire & cable. ● Understand material usage in production vs. BOMs.
\n
● Maintain a reliable quotation process while improving raw material costing and BOMs.
\n
● Maintains the MES, SAP, and AGILE databases.
\n
● Generate and maintain internal wire & cable drawings using the AutoCAD program.
\n
● Communicate and coordinate activities related to new wire & cable introduction.
\n
● ISO 9001 Internal Lead Auditor.
\n
● Provide training for internal audit findings, analysis, and corrective actions.
\n
● Generate and revise MPS (manufacturing process sheets).
\n
● Provide backup to the production team when the GM assistant indicates.
\n
● Provide support for UL/CSA factory inspection.
\n
● Implement process improvements through special projects.
\n
● Provide support to production equipment on basic PLC programming skills.
\n
● Responsible for the ECR/ECNs for Engineering.
\n
● Maintain and generate IMDS numbers for PPAP purposes.
\n
● Lead or participate in KPIs, OKR, and new product introduction projects.
\n
● Provide support for customer samples. Job Experience/Requirements
\n
● Excellent analytical, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\n
● Background in wire & cable cost reduction.
\n
● Team leadership skills .
\n
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Google apps, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) .
\n
● Knowledge of AutoCAD and other Engineering software.
\n
● Knowledgeable in the ISO 9001 standard. Trained and certified as an internal auditor.
\n

Education
\n
● Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
\n
● Bilingual (English/Spanish) .
