Quay side construction compliance Engineer
Role Definition
Mission :
• Quay side construction compliance follow up to ensure the suitability and readiness of the quay at yard (China) for load out :
o Duration : 10/11 months
o Be part of a Monthly meeting with Chinese yard on the Quay construction
o Verify progress via travel in China (5 or 6 times of 1 week each time)
o Location : France/China
o Speaking : English
Required Profile :
• General skills :

o Good technical background to evaluate the progress and Supplier’s execution
o Knowledge of Quay construction : understand/foresee if potential issues arise that can lead to delay and swift resolution is essential.

o Build and maintain a collaborative and constructive relationships with Vendor and its sub-suppliers.

Responsibilities:
• Documentation
o Review and follow supplier documentation .
• Schedule :
o review Supplier Schedule and help to plan and deliver
o propose Vendor’s recovery plan to achieve the timely and compliant delivery
• Interface
o Interface with all Project Manager and SCM Manager, to present the progress, risks, impacts and potential improvement / acceleration plan.
o Interface with Chinese yard with the presence of SCM owner
• Evaluate construction
o Visit Vendor’s sub-suppliers to assess the progress and Generate a Mission Report
• Report :
o Report to be issued within a week of travel time max
o Generate monthly report after the Monthly meeting with Chinese yard.
