Your Role\n
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key player in supporting the delivery of commercial excellence across Kier Design. Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll manage all aspects of commercial activity, including:

- Leading subcontractor procurement: Oversee tendering, evaluation, appointment, and manage whole-life subcontract performance.
- Contract administration: Support change control processes and collaborate with Project Leads to manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Financial reporting: Provide accurate forecasting, prepare client applications for payment, and manage work in progress effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure safe entry into contracts through PLM governance and adherence to commercial standards.
- Team efficiency: Monitor utilization, support bid and tender activities, and build strong relationships across teams.

What We’re Looking For\n
This role is perfect for you if:

- You have experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role within construction, consultancy, design, or term-service environments.
- You possess strong contractual awareness, including NEC and general commercial principles, with proven experience in subcontract procurement and management.
- You’re confident in preparing client applications, forecasting, cost reporting, and managing change control processes.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are detail-oriented, and can work independently across multiple projects.
- You’re a collaborative problem-solver with strong time management skills, commercial judgment, and a commitment to our values.
