Location: Bedfordshire

Salary: £50,000 – £90,000 (dependent on experience) + package

We are working with a well-established, privately owned civil engineering contractor with a turnover exceeding £100m and a strong track record of sustained growth. The business has built a reputation as a market leader within residential infrastructure, delivering large-scale schemes for major UK housebuilders.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering and groundworks projects

• Procurement and management of subcontractors

• Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control

• Valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Supporting project teams to ensure commercial success and efficiency

• Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships

Requirements

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or groundworks

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project lifecycles

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ambition to grow within a high-performing commercial team
