Job Description

We're working with a well-established regional contractor to recruit a capable Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of two live projects along the South Coast. \n\nThis role offers the opportunity to take ownership of:\n\nA £4.5m project in Lancing\nA £2.5m project in Worthing\n1 day a week in Southampton office / flexibility to WFH one day a week. The position would suit either:\n\nAn experienced QS looking to take responsibility for a smaller portfolio of projects, or\nAn ambitious Intermediate QS ready to step up and gain greater autonomyKey Responsibilities:\n\nCommercial management of two concurrent projects\nCost control, procurement, and subcontractor management\nValuations, variations, and final accounts\nSupporting project teams to ensure financial performance and deliveryRequirements:\n\nPrevious experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction\nAbility to manage multiple projects or a strong desire to step up into that responsibility\nNEC contract experience desirable, but not essential\nWillingness to travel across Lancing, Worthing, and Southampton (weekly)What's on Offer:\n\nStrong pipeline of secured work\nSupportive and flexible working environment\n1 day per week working from home\nOpportunity to shape your role depending on experience levelIf you're looking for a role that offers both stability and progression, with a balance of responsibility and support, this could be a great fit.\n\nFlexible salary depending on experience.
