Quantity Surveyor role for a London based Tier 1 Main Contractor with a turnover of over £1bn About the role of Quantity Surveyor Your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to work on a £75m hotel scheme. This will consist of the existing hotel closing, and refitting the rooms and communal area. It's a tower block with podium, full strip out and cut & curve project. The duration will be 90 weeks. This will allow you the opportunity to work with a Tier 1 Main Contractor and an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who will support you. You will be a no2 on site. The company have been established for over 20 years and have a strong pipeline of work in London. Their projects are across a range of sectors meaning you will gain a lot of exposure in the construction industry. They are progressive in the way they offer promotion and it is done on a merit basis and competency as opposed to longevity. Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor: You will be responsible for but not limited to; Managing packages from procurement through to final accounting Working with the wider team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site CVRs Reviewing drawings Working collaboratively with the internal team and clients Key Requirements for Quantity Surveyor: This Tier 1 Main Contractor are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is confident and eager to develop their career.
