About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Liverpool-based team, working across a diverse portfolio of build and refurbishment projects within the commercial and public sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective projects from inception through to completion.



Key Responsibilities

Manage all cost and commercial aspects of assigned construction and refurbishment projects.



Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.



Conduct cost planning and value engineering exercises throughout design development.



Oversee procurement, including subcontractor tendering and contract negotiation.



Provide ongoing cost reporting and financial management to ensure projects are delivered on budget.



Assess and certify subcontractor payments and variations.



Prepare and agree final accounts.



Liaise with clients, project managers, contractors, and design teams to maintain smooth project delivery.



Ensure all work complies with company standards, contracts, and health & safety requirements.



Skills & Experience Required

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.



Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience (intermediate/senior roles considered).



Proven background in both new build and refurbishment projects.



Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and communication skills.



Proficient in cost management software and MS Office.



Membership of RICS (or working towards) desirable.



Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within a team environment.
