Location & Hours\n

Location: Sheffield

\n

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours a week)

\n

Your Role\n

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our Building Solutions North team. You will manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management. Expect to spend 3+ days a week working from site or office, contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.

\n

• Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, and place orders for materials and plant.

\n

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.

\n

• Measure and value work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.

\n

• Produce monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, and manage cashflows.

\n

What We’re Looking For\n

This role is perfect for you if:

• You possess strong communication skills and have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.

\n

• You hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.

\n

• You have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

\n

• You are flexible, able to work as part of a team, and can use your initiative.

\n

• You are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.

\n
