FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
- Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets and feasibility studies.
- Manage procurement exercises, tender documentation and tender analysis.
- Produce cost reports, valuations and payment recommendations.
- Maintain effective financial control throughout each project.
- Lead value engineering, risk management and change-control processes.
- Negotiate and agree final accounts.
- Manage projects from initial feasibility through to completion.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Mentor junior surveyors and support their professional development.
- Contribute to business development and help secure new opportunities.

Skills & Experience
\n
- \n
- MRICS Chartered status.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
- Good working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
- Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors.
- Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proactive, collaborative and organised approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Public-sector project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
