Quantity Surveyor – Glasgow
We are seeking a highly motivated quantity surveyor to join a dynamic commercial team in Glasgow, delivering high-profile renewable energy projects across Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about cost control, contract management, and delivering value on complex builds.
As a quantity surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project finances from inception through to completion, ensuring commercial success while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
As a quantity surveyor, you will manage cost planning, valuations, variations, and final accounts across multiple projects.
Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and site teams to ensure commercial objectives are met.
Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a quantity surveyor within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT/NEC).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
