About the Role

Our client, a well-established specialist in high-end commercial and residential fit-out and flooring solutions, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing project finances from start to finish, ensuring delivery is on budget and to the highest standard.



Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for multiple projects



Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide commercial advice to project teams



Manage procurement, tendering, and subcontractor agreements



Monitor and report on project expenditure, valuations, and variations



Assess and negotiate subcontractor claims and final accounts



Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures



Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery



Prepare monthly cost reports and maintain robust project documentation



Requirements:



Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction, fit-out, or flooring sectors



Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (JCT contracts )



Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills



High attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously



Strong numerical and analytical abilities



Proficient in MS Office and relevant QS software



Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience)
