You will be working on a variety of projects across residential and mixed-use for mainly private developer clients.

The role offers a competitive and negotiable basic from £50,000 - £65,000 + bonus + travel + hybrid working + 27 days holiday.\n\nEstablished around a decade ago, this independent construction consultancy has quickly built a strong reputation for its work in delivering high-quality homes using modern methods of construction. With a team of around 100 professionals across cost and project management, they operate across a variety of residential-led sectors including affordable housing, BTR, and mixed-use schemes.\n\nThis growing practice is involved in some of the capital's most ambitious regeneration projects, with developments valued up to £2.5bn. They offer a progressive and collaborative environment, with a clear route for career development and exposure to complex, high-profile schemes from feasibility through to completion.

Our client is looking for Senior or project Quantity Surveyor candidates ideally with a Consultancy or Developer background.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nReporting to the Associate Director\nLiaising with clients and internal cost consultants and project managers delivering cost consultancy services from acquisition to final accounts\nCost Control, Cost Planning, Cost Estimates and Procurement\nNegotiation and contract preparation\nSupply Chain Engagement\nBudget Reconciliations\nCost reporting\nContractor Payments.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nIdeally 3+ years' experience in the UK construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant\nCost Planning to final accounts\nMain Contractor or Consultancy background\nMRICS/MCIOB or working towards but not essential\nExperienced in serving private sector clients\nDegree in Quantity Surveying or similar\nPassion for the construction industry.\n\nWhat you get back\n\nSalary £50,000 - £65,000 (Negotiable)\nDiscretionary Bonus\n27 days holiday + Bank Holidays\nHybrid Working (typically 3 days in the office or to sites and 2 days remote working)\nPension matched up to 5%\nHealthcare\nLife Assurance\nMileage/Public Transport paid to sites\nRegular social events\nSupport with professional industry subscriptions.\n\nApply\n\nIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
