Their diverse portfolio includes industrial warehouses, commercial units, and social housing developments, typically ranging in value from £3M to £15M.



Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of new work, the business is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Cardiff.



As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take full commercial and contractual responsibility for a £5M mixed-use development, delivered under a JCT form of contract.



Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will lead the commercial delivery of the project, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency, manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and variations , oversee financial reporting and forecasting and mentor and support a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, contributing to their professional development.



This role is predominantly office-based in Cardiff, with regular site visits and client/stakeholder engagement as required.

Candidate Profile:



* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry



* Strong understanding of JCT contracts



* Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills



* Capable of working autonomously while supporting junior team members
