Quantity Surveyor Salary: £60,000 p.a. Hybrid role available (2 days at home/3 days in the office). Pension: 3% employer/5% employee. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to the Head of Commercial and will assist the team in complying with all commercial processes and procedures to ensure a successful project outcome. Your key responsibilities: Responsible for a number of New Build and Refurb projects. Number of concurrent projects will be dependent on size and complexity of each job. Maintain financial control of projects from start to finish, including monthly job costing reviews, and final accounts agreements. Review all subcontract documents Pre and Post-Tender. Provide risk analysis reports and minimize any risks associated. Issuing contractual letters/ emails as required. Provide support/advice in all commercial activities to the Projects Managers. Prepare on-time monthly valuations following site measurements and work-in-progress reviews. Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers, and site staff. Pricing & Pursue agreement of variations and maintain the VO register up to date. Submit Bona-fide and Sub-contractors Orders/PO’s and control/ approve their Invoices for payment. Liaise with the project team individually to ensure that they are continually aware of the financial constraints and contractual obligations. Provide project cash flow reports. Skills Required: There will be a requirement to visit sites, so a full UK driving licence is required. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent IT skills with particular proficiency in Excel. Be a good team player with ambition to grow within the company.
