Job Description

Quantity Surveyor\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in preparing quotations, cost estimations, and tender applications within the construction or engineering sectors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Prepare detailed and accurate quotations and cost estimates for projects.\n\n * \n\n Manage the preparation and submission of tender applications.\n\n * \n\n Conduct material take-offs and cost analysis to support project budgets.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.\n\n * \n\n Assist with contract administration and cost control throughout project delivery.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all financial and contractual documentation is completed to a high standard.\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of estimating, tendering, and commercial management processes.\n\n * \n\n Excellent numerical and analytical skills.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.\n\n * \n\n Proficient in relevant software (such as MS Excel and estimating tools).\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and organisational skills.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a proactive professional to join a growing team and play a key role in the success of upcoming projects
