Quantity Surveyor\n\nWe have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a tier 1 main contractor based in Basingstoke. The business is one of the most renowned main contractors in the UK, with a presence operating out of several regional offices. The business undertakes projects across various sectors including education and further education, commercial, healthcare, defence and MOJ.

\n\nThe business unit in Basingstoke is becoming increasingly busy, and is now looking to expand their defence team with an additional Quantity Surveyor. \n\nAbout the role of Quantity Surveyor:\n\nAs Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects valuing up to £10mil. You will be working within the defence team and will be reporting into the Commercial Manager.

\n\nKey Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: \n\nInvolvement in 2-stage tenders \nManage sub-contract procurement \nManage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations\nManage monthly valuations and liaise with the client \nDeal with final accounts \n\nKey Requirements as Quantity Surveyor: \n\nHave a HNC / construction related degree \nHave administered JCT / NEC forms of contract\nMust have the full right to work in the UK \nMust live within commutable distance to Basingstoke \n\nWhats on offer for this Quantity Surveyor role:\n\nSalary: Up to £65k \nCompany Car / Car Allowance \nSolid pipeline of work \nProgression opportunities \n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with an enviable reputation in the region and ample work on the south coast.
