Both permanent and freelance opportunities are available.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage all aspects of cost control, from initial estimates through to final accounts.\nAdminister and manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.\nPrepare valuations, variations, and interim applications for payment.\nProvide accurate forecasting, cash flow, and cost reporting.\nNegotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.\nWork closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on budget and within contractual frameworks.\nSupport dispute resolution and claims processes where necessary.Requirements\n\nDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience.\nDemonstrable experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.\nStrong commercial acumen and cost management skills.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team.\nPrevious experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects desirable.What We Offer\n\nCompetitive salary (for permanent roles) or day rate (for freelance contracts).\nFlexible engagement to suit career ambitions - freelance or staff position.\nOpportunity to work on exciting and diverse projects in the Peterborough area.\nSupportive and professional working environment with progression opportunities
