Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Cardiff – Hybrid Working Salary: £38,000 - £47,000p/a DOE The Company A leading professional services organisation, specialising in quantity surveying and cost consultancy, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Cardiff team. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering cost and commercial management services to clients across a diverse range of projects. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for ensuring value for money, financial control and effective risk management throughout project lifecycles. Key responsibilities include: Preparing cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts Supporting procurement and tendering activities Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial procedures Managing valuations, variations and final accounts Providing cost and commercial advice to clients and stakeholders Assisting senior colleagues in delivering projects to the highest professional standards The Person To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure or consultancy environments Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail Knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT or similar) Excellent communication and client-facing skills A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (working towards chartership would be advantageous) The Package Competitive salary based on experience Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility between office and remote work Professional development support, including chartership and ongoing training Comprehensive benefits package and clear career progression opportunities Apply Now If you’re a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to grow your career within a respected cost and consultancy practice, click the apply button to submit your CV.
