About the Role



Joining a high-performing Major Contracts team, you’ll take full commercial ownership of projects ranging in size, complexity and value. From concept through to final account, you will:

Take detailed briefs and prepare robust estimates, BoQs and scopes of work

Manage subcontract and supplier procurement, contract documentation and trackers



*



Visit sites regularly, valuing works, capturing variations and maintaining CVRs



*



Monitor profitability, identify opportunities to close cost gaps and report key metrics



*



Liaise confidently with clients, design teams, supply chain and internal departments



*



Produce accurate valuations, invoices and final accounts in line with contract terms



This is a hands-on, fast-paced role offering genuine influence over project success and client relationships. Hybrid working and travel are available depending on project locations.

Requirements



*



Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying



*



Minimum 3 years’ QS experience within construction (commercial fit-out or similar )



*



Strong numeracy and IT skills (confident with Excel)



*



Proven track record of subcontract procurement, cost control and CVR reporting



*



Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide



*



Resilient, solutions-focused team player with excellent negotiation and stakeholder skills
