Quantity Surveyor

Must be Eligible for SC Clearance



Our Client has a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Reading.



Role Purpose:



To provide full lifecycle commercial and contract management support on secure, high-assurance infrastructure projects within a critical programme. The role involves working on classified built environment assets, where security clearance and commercial integrity are essential.



Job Role Responsibilities:



Manage cost and commercial activities from tender through to project close-out

Guide and administer subcontract strategies using NEC suite contracts

Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Controls teams to deliver commercial objectives

Ensure accurate cost forecasting, change management, and reporting

Provide contractual guidance to operational teams and stakeholders

Resolve commercial and contractual issues proactively

Support strategic decision-making with delivery and business development teams

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:



Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Finance or Commerce ()

Proven experience in commercial roles within major infrastructure or construction projects

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Eligible for UK security clearance
