Quantity Surveyor – Exeter (Office-Based, with Local Site Visits)\nLocation: Exeter, Devon\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\nSalary: Competitive + Package + Benefits\n\nAre you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity in the Exeter area?\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected main contractor with a strong regional presence. They are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team to manage the financial aspects of multiple diverse projects across the South West.\n\nProjects include:\nCommercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Retail, and other Blue-Chip Developments.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Oversee all commercial and financial elements of your assigned projects\n\n * \n\n Administer contracts (JCT, Design & Build)\n\n * \n\n Procure subcontractors and build strong supply chain relationships\n\n * \n\n Manage and report on project CVRs\n\n * \n\n Conduct site measurements and valuations\n\n * \n\n Control project cost and value through to final account\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a regional or Tier 1 contractor\n\n * \n\n Proven track record delivering projects up to £10m in value\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of CVR processes and contract administration\n\n * \n\n Ideally familiar with the local supply chain\n\n * \n\n Full UK Driving Licence (site travel required – generally within 1-hour radius)\n\nBenefits:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary + discretionary bonus\n\n * \n\n Company car or car allowance\n\n * \n\n Private healthcare for you and your family\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and development\n\n * \n\n Secure role with a respected employer and strong project pipeline\n\nAbout the Company:\n\nThis contractor has been delivering high-quality building projects for many years and has built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and excellence across the South West.
