Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in mechanical & electrical (M&E), fire protection, or security systems projects? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering high-value projects across infrastructure, transport, and critical environments throughout the UK and Ireland.
With a proven track record spanning over 40 years, this growing specialist contractor is expanding and looking for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to support projects from inception to final account.
Key Responsibilities
Manage financial and contractual aspects of assigned projects
Liaise with operational teams and clients to ensure cost control
Prepare and manage interim valuations and final accounts
Assess and negotiate subcontractor applications
Monitor cost forecasts, CVRs, and project cashflows
Oversee contract variations and risk management
Support final account settlements and contract close-out
✅ What We're Looking For
3+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction, building services, fire & security, or M&E
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant field ()
Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC3/NEC4 contracts
Familiarity with CDM regulations and industry best practices
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
A background in building services, fire systems, security systems, or technical infrastructure projects
The ability to manage costs proactively and collaborate across departments
Experience producing CVRs and managing P&L accounts
