Responsibilities

This employer is an established manufacturing company specializing in machined and fabricated aerospace components. This position works directly with the leadership to maintain & ensure compliance to established quality systems.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain & improve quality management systems and processes

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement

- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and patterns

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues

- Lead and manage quality improvement projects

- Train and educate employees on quality standards and procedures

- Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions as needed

Qualifications

- Proven experience in quality systems management or a related role

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of quality management systems and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO9000, AS9100, NADCAP, FAA, ITAR, CMMC etc.)

- Effective communication skills

- FAA Repairman’s Certificate or A&P license preferable
