Quality & Operations Manager

 

Sunman, IN | ? Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

 

$60,000 – $80,000 (Based on Experience)

 

Ensure precision, performance, and compliance across every touchpoint.

We’re hiring a hands-on Quality & Operations Manager to lead key functions related to ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, calibration oversight, internal operations, and safety management.

 

You’ll drive day-to-day execution across calibration documentation, quality control, and operational efficiency—while also providing secondary support in HR coordination and employee engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Quality & Compliance

  • Maintain and manage documentation in alignment with ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Support and participate in internal audits, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and process improvements
  • Assist in calibration program management, documentation, and record keeping
  • Ensure quality standards are upheld in daily workflows and project execution

 

Operations & Workflow Management

  • Oversee daily operational coordination across teams and departments
  • Support scheduling, order tracking, and process documentation to keep timelines on track
  • Maintain internal project tracking systems and provide leadership with status reports
  • Lead or assist with implementing SOPs and safety protocols to enhance workplace compliance

 

Safety & Facility Oversight

  • Partner with leadership to promote and maintain a culture of safety
  • Help manage safety documentation, training records, and incident tracking
  • Assist with facility compliance and inspections as needed

 

HR Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee file maintenance
  • Support internal communications, engagement efforts, and basic HR compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism across all people-related initiatives

 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Operations, Engineering, or Business—or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years in quality, calibration, operations coordination, or similar roles
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, safety standards, and compliance systems
  • Highly organized with strong communication and project management skills
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, tracking systems, and document control software

 

Experience

  • Background in manufacturing, technical services, or calibration labs
  • Hands-on experience with audit preparation, quality inspections, or CAPA
  • Knowledge of safety program administration and facility compliance
  • Exposure to CRM, ERP, or workflow management tools
