Quality & Operations Manager
Sunman, IN | ? Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
$60,000 – $80,000 (Based on Experience)
Ensure precision, performance, and compliance across every touchpoint.
We’re hiring a hands-on Quality & Operations Manager to lead key functions related to ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, calibration oversight, internal operations, and safety management.
You’ll drive day-to-day execution across calibration documentation, quality control, and operational efficiency—while also providing secondary support in HR coordination and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain and manage documentation in alignment with ISO/IEC 17025 standards
- Support and participate in internal audits, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and process improvements
- Assist in calibration program management, documentation, and record keeping
- Ensure quality standards are upheld in daily workflows and project execution
Operations & Workflow Management
- Oversee daily operational coordination across teams and departments
- Support scheduling, order tracking, and process documentation to keep timelines on track
- Maintain internal project tracking systems and provide leadership with status reports
- Lead or assist with implementing SOPs and safety protocols to enhance workplace compliance
Safety & Facility Oversight
- Partner with leadership to promote and maintain a culture of safety
- Help manage safety documentation, training records, and incident tracking
- Assist with facility compliance and inspections as needed
HR Support (Secondary Focus)
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee file maintenance
- Support internal communications, engagement efforts, and basic HR compliance
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism across all people-related initiatives
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Operations, Engineering, or Business—or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years in quality, calibration, operations coordination, or similar roles
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, safety standards, and compliance systems
- Highly organized with strong communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, tracking systems, and document control software
Experience
- Background in manufacturing, technical services, or calibration labs
- Hands-on experience with audit preparation, quality inspections, or CAPA
- Knowledge of safety program administration and facility compliance
- Exposure to CRM, ERP, or workflow management tools
