Continuous improvement position, constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to empower people around them to ensure product quality. Core Technology is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer responsible for working with our manufacturing partners and customers to develop world class manufacturing processes for our power electronic products.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for developing the manufacturing and quality plans for the manufacturing of Core Technology products. This includes equipment process’s, testing, records maintenance of AS9100. • Audit manufacturing sites and implement manufacturing and quality best practices. • Provide technical leadership and expertise within the supply chain teams during the hardware product lifecycle. • Ensure product and process quality targets are met by working with engineering to design test methods, establishing standards, and driving continuous improvement with manufacturers and equipment providers. • Drive root cause and corrective action for failures during manufacturing and returned material. • Assist in implementing failure analysis tools and processes. • Create and maintain all product process and quality documentation. • Help create BOMs, engineering change notifications, and manufacturing process changes through product lifecycle. • Learn, support and train personnel on software needed to support the QMS system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 2+ years experience in developing or manufacturing electrical, mechanical, or power products. • Demonstrated experience using of quality tools, methodologies in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment. • Experience in performing design of experiment, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting of hardware related issues. • Vendor management, project management, interpersonal, and organizational experience.
QUALIFICATIONS • BA/MS in applicable fields. • ISO9001 and/or AS9100 certification experience. • Experience in manufacturing environment.
