My client is an autonomous business specialising in the design and manufacturing of high classification devices for the Orthopaedic industry. They work in cooperation with respected orthopaedic surgeons, experienced engineers and a variety of cutting-edge suppliers and partners. Through this cooperation with partners, they are empowering the creation of products that are highly innovative while at the same time meeting the heightened expectations of patients along with the stringent quality and safety standards that apply to modern orthopaedic implants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support the Quality Management System (QMS) in collaboration with the QA Director.

  • Oversee product design, testing, manufacture, procurement, and sales to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Manage a team of a quality engineer and QA assistant, fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Maintain ISO 13485 QMS compliance, conduct internal training, and engage with external agencies.

  • Implement a risk-managed approach to continuous improvement, adapting to legislative changes.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in quality engineering or a similar QA role, with knowledge of orthopedic device production.

  • Familiarity with medical device industry standards and eQMS systems.

  • Strong leadership skills, able to guide a team effectively.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: £45,000-£50,000.

  • NEST Pension, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays. (+1 day for every year with the company).

  • Full on-site training offered

  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 9 AM-5 PM.
