Job Description
Quality Manager \n\nSite-Based | UK\nCompetitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Quality Manager, you will take full ownership of the manufacturing quality function, ensuring products consistently meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nLeading the Quality Control and Quality Assurance function (QC Supervisor + technicians)\n\nOwnership and continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System\n\nManaging internal and external audits, documentation, and compliance processes\n\nEnsuring adherence to chemical industry regulations (e.g. REACH, ISO, GMP)\n\nLeading root cause analysis, risk assessments, and CAPA activities\n\nPartnering cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial\n\nMonitoring and reporting quality KPIs, trends, and improvement initiatives\n\nManaging and resolving customer complaints professionally and effectively\n\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies\n\nAbout You\n\nYou are a confident, structured quality leader who thrives in a regulated manufacturing environment and enjoys driving improvement rather than simply maintaining systems.\n\nYou will likely bring:\n\nProven experience in a quality leadership role within manufacturing \n\nStrong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems governance\n\nExperience as an ISO 9001 Lead or Internal Auditor\n\nSolid understanding of chemical industry compliance frameworks\n\nDemonstrable people leadership experience within QC / QA\n\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to lead investigations and make data-driven decisions\n\nA collaborative communication style with credibility across technical and non-technical teams\n\nA degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive base salary\n\nPerformance-related bonus\n\nCompany pension & life assurance\n\nHealth cash plan\n\n23 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\nOngoing training and professional development\n\nStable, well-invested manufacturing site with modern systems\n\nFree onsite parking and strong transport links\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis is an opportunity to step into a visible, influential Quality Manager role within a globally backed organisation where quality genuinely matters.
