Quality Manager (Construction)\n\nIntroduction\n\nAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for a quality control manager on a large new build construction project in Exeter.\n\nYour background will be well rounded within construction, across multi-disciplines particularly within fit out, MEP and internal works.\n\nKey Duties\n\nUndertake regular site-based quality inspections to ensure all works are compliant with approved drawings, specifications, best practices, and programme requirements, with a particular focus on internals, fit-out, and MEP installations.\nReview and maintain up-to-date quality records, validating that all installations are completed compliantly and documented accurately.\nParticipate in quality launch meetings to understand project requirements and quality expectations.\nContribute at project setup by identifying specific QC and compliance needs for each package.\nTake part in risk analysis with the team.\nMonitor and close out actions from QC reports, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.\nAnalyse QC data to recommend corrective and preventive actions.\nImmediately report and escalate any non-compliance.\nSupport the site team to implement quality and compliance strategies.\nPromote awareness of compliance and quality through team workshops and training.\nAdvise on adequacy of quality resources on site.\nShare best practice through joint inspections and mentoring.\nLiaise with external parties on QC matters as needed.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including scorecards and performance tracking.\nAdvise teams on lessons learned and risk mitigation.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.\n\nRequirements\n\nProven internals experience \nprevious experience not essential, happy to work with someone looking for a change of career\nknowledgeable and driven with a commitment long term\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive Salary\nWorking hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm\nLong term Prospects\n\nInterested?\n\nApply now with your CV, or contact Harry at Acorn by Synergie Bristol for more information about this role in Exeter.\n\nAcorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment
