Quality Manager

Quality Manager - West Midlands - Chemical Manufacturing



We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager (or a strong Quality professional ready to step up) to lead a well-established Quality team within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role will suit someone with the confidence, leadership style and resilience to drive quality standards in a fast-paced, production-driven business.



The role:



Lead and develop a small, capable Quality team



Strengthen internal and external auditing processes



Manage customer complaints and provide professional, solutions-focused responses



Ensure compliance across quality systems while maintaining a pragmatic, commercial approach



Act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders on quality issues



What we're looking for:



Proven leadership or management experience in Quality (open to QC backgrounds across industries)



Strong auditing experience (internal/external)



Complaint handling and customer-facing experience



A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a solutions-first approach



Ability to balance quality with production demands in a practical way
