The Position:
The Quality Control Manager will oversee the efficiency of production and manufacturing processes to ensure that products are up to company and industry standards.
Job duties include:
- Assure quality of parts being run meet customer standards and Work Order specifications
- Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Train and manage production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
- Perform detailed and recorded inspections of final products to ensure products are up to industry and company standards
- Ensure ISO 9001-2015 compliance by working with audit consultants and external auditors
- Check incoming materials and outgoing parts for quality
- Maintain accurate quality information on all products utilizing online MRP system
- Follow and maintain corrective and preventive action procedures
- Contact customers and vendors to resolve quality issues
- Generate Quality Plans and ensure adherence to the company’s stated Quality Policy
- Aid President in maintaining Quality System and procedures
- Create Key Performance Indicators to ensure quality across the company
About You:
- High school diploma, Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years Quality Control Management experience
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices
- Excellent math skills
- Ability to read blueprints required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented with a passion for maintaining quality standards
