Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Quality Inspector to work in their leading facility in Wolverhampton.
For the successful Quality Inspector our client is offering:
Competitive starting rate paying between £15 - £16 depending on experience, with genuine room for progression in the role ( Up to £32,448 per annum)
Days - 7am - 4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays
Permanent Position within a thriving company
Salary reviews
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Overtime opportunities paid at time & a half after 39 hours are completed
Free on site parking
The Role - Quality Inspector:
Routine testing of vehicles after they've been built
Reporting any issues that you may encounter when inspection vehicles
Thoroughly checking of HGV's using a check sheet
Conducting a variety of checks around the vehicle
Shunting vehicles around the yard - Training provided
Mechanical testing
Visual inspection
Checking mudguards
Using an Ipad to take photos when taking the vehicle in & again one ready for final inspection
Tightening nuts
What our client is looking for in a Quality Inspector:
Able to follow a wide variety of instructions
Have a keen eye for detail
Possess strong numerical/literacy based skills
IT Literate
Our client is ideally looking for candidates that have experience within Automotive, but will consider other sectors within Manufacturing
Ideally hold a Class 2 Licence, but this isn't essential as training can be provided to shunt vehicles around the yard
Physically fit as involves climbing into trucks
Able to work from drawings
