Job DescriptionJob DescriptionParadigm is seeking a Quality Inspector to play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations with our client in Vancouver, WA. In this role, you will perform inspections using automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, X-ray machines, and microscopes, verifying compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards, and documenting results. Ideal candidates have IPC certifications, strong attention to detail, and experience in electronics inspection.

Type: 6 month contract-to-hire
Shift: Day Shift (5:00AM - 3:30pm, Mon - Thurs)
Location: On-site, Vancouver, WA

As a Quality Inspector, you will:

• Inspect assemblies using 3D AOI system
  
• Inspect assemblies at final inspection
  
• Complete defect tracking in database
  
• Complete AS9102 FA reports and submit to QA
  
• Operate X-ray machines per work instructions
  
• Operate AOI systems
  
• Run in-line and batch washers
  
• Use the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to track time and status of jobs
  
• Create and complete non-conformances/Device Master Records (DMRs)
  
• Help to update procedures and work instructions as-needed to match current processes
  
• Maintain 6S standards and continually look for ways to improve processes
  
• Follow safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols
  
• Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change
  
• Follow the procedures as defined in the QMS that pertain to your area or position
  

RequirementsOur skills and experience wish list includes:

• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified
  
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and inspection techniques
  
• SMT and Final QA SFE certified
  
• IPC-7711 certified
  
• Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation
  
• Proficient in microscope-based inspection task
  
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  
• Competent written communication for reporting and documentation
  
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  
• Basic proficiency in computer usage and data entry
