Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and experience working in a manufacturing or quality environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of parts and materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, etc.)
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Identify and report non-conforming products and assist with corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures (ISO/AS standards as applicable)
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) as required
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Overtime required based on production needs
- We offer a generous compensation package, which includes competitive hourly up to $20.00 p/h D.O.E, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401K, Vacation & sick/personal days and Life insurance. $250.00 SIGN-ON BONUS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED; College degree a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing. Fast paced. Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
