Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTitle: Quality Inspector/Order PickerType: Full-time, temp to hirePay: $18.00 / hour (Weekly Pay)Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Position Summary:The Quality Inspector/ Order Picker oversees all inspection operations for incoming material and components. The inspector is required to take measurements using calipers, gauges and tape measures. He or she will have to be able to read a drawing and/or spec sheet to confirm quality metrics. The individual would also be responsible for assisting with order picking duties as needed.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs inspection of incoming raw materials and components; assists in developing a list for incoming inspection.
- Tracks incoming inspection results for trending purposes as it applies to component rejection frequencies, supplier performance, etc.
- Generates necessary paperwork to return defective products to appropriate suppliers.
- Conducts analysis of components to support proposed changes to existing documentation that are deemed necessary.
- Ensure necessary documentation is generated to support proposed changes to job travelers, pick sheets, drawings, specification sheets, etc.
- Inspects packaged products from the shipping department as directed.
- Will also assist in order picking duties as needed

Technical Expertise:
- Experience working in manufacturing, assembly, production, or similar industries is required.
- Experience in industrial inspections, quality control and quality assurance is required.
- Experience with calipers, gauges, and tape measures
- Experience interacting with all levels of employees is required.
- Experience with ISO is required.
- Computer proficiency: familiarity with MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar suite is required; prior ERP experience required.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification: None.
- Years of experience: 1 to 3 years is required.
- Years of experience supervising: None.
