Quality Inspector in North Canton

Job DescriptionAs a Quality Inspector you will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of wire & cable assemblies. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production. \n

Responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

\n

• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database.

\n

• Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.

\n

• Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures

\n

• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.

\n

• Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.

\n

• Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.

\n

• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.

\n

Qualifications:\n
\n

\n
• High School Degree or equivalent experience required

\n

• 2 years required, 3 years of quality inspector experience

\n

• Ability to analyze information

\n

• Ability to report research results

\n

• Strong documentation and organizational skills

\n

• Strong attention to detail

\n

• Strong math skills

\n

• Ability to use measurement equipment

\n

• Basic computer skills

\n
