Job Description Job Description Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, sorting, and sampling goods, ensuring that products conform to specifications, and checking for defects and deviations. You will evaluate colors, taste, textures, and analytical parameters against set standards, conduct daily QC floor audits, calibrate QC equipment, and alert supervisors of any production, quality, or safety concerns. You will also assist with regulatory and third-party audit visits. Responsibilities Inspect and measure products for conformance to specifications. Evaluate product characteristics such as colors, taste, and textures. Perform daily quality control floor audits. Calibrate quality control equipment. Notify supervisors of production, quality, or safety issues. Reject raw materials or finished products not meeting standards. Prepare samples and forms for third-party lab analysis. Assist with regulatory and third-party audit visits. Essential Skills Experience in quality assurance, quality control, and inspection. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Capability to lift, push, and carry up to 40lbs. 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in a QA/QC role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in a food QA/QC role. Bi-lingual in Spanish, Polish, or Russian. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
