Job Title: Quality Inspector I – Assembly

Location: Morris, CT

Position Overview

The Quality Inspector I – Assembly performs in-line and end-of-line inspections of assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings and workmanship standards. A portion of time may be spent on light assembly, kitting, or packaging tasks depending on production demand. First piece inspections may be performed as required.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform in-line and end-of-line inspections on assigned production lines.

· May perform first piece inspections depending on production requirements.

· Verify materials, components, and assemblies against drawings/specifications.

· Tag, segregate, and document nonconforming material per NCMR/DMR procedures.

· Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate findings to Quality and Production.

· Support production flow by escalating issues promptly.

· Assist with light assembly, kitting, or packaging tasks when inspection demand is low.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework a plus.

· 1–2 years of inspection, assembly, or manufacturing experience .

· Basic knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, gauges) .

· Ability to follow documented procedures with high attention to detail.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
