Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:15\n\n * Friday: 07:00 – 14:30\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector with a strong programming background to join a precision engineering environment.\n\nThis is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of inspection processes, working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure components meet strict quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Program and operate CMM equipment (Mitutoyo) using MCOSMOS software\n\n * Develop and implement pre-programmed inspection routines\n\n * Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections\n\n * Perform manual inspection using standard metrology equipment\n\n * Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements\n\n * Produce accurate inspection reports and maintain quality records\n\n * Support non-conformance investigations and root cause analysis\n\n * Assist with calibration of inspection equipment\n\n * Contribute to continuous improvement activities within quality processes\n\n * Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Proven experience as a CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector\n\n * Strong knowledge of MCOSMOS (Mitutoyo CMM experience essential)\n\n * Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T\n\n * Experience within precision engineering or regulated industries (medical device advantageous)\n\n * Skilled in manual inspection techniques and measurement tools\n\n * Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 13485 or ISO 9001\n\n * Experience with quality documentation (FAIRs, NCRs, CAPA, etc.)\n\n * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset\n\n * Good communication skills and team-focused approach\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\n\n * Work in a high-precision, modern manufacturing environment\n\n * Opportunity to play a key role in quality and inspection processes\n\n * Ongoing development and training opportunities\n\n * Supportive and collaborative team culture\n\n * Long-term career progression within a growing business
