Description and Requirements Responsible for carrying out, under supervision, the visual dimensional inspection and functional tests of materials received from suppliers, in accordance with pre-established norms and procedures, to comply with quality standards. Also responds by conducting process audits. Location: Whitsett, United States Key Responsibilities Closely work with the Engineering team to define processes and procedures. Provide feedback to production and management about quality issues and suggesting process improvements. Conduct audits of materials and finished products in accordance with quality procedures. Perform Quality Audit on the Lines to support and guarantee the process. Conduct a compliance audit on the production process and perform visual and physical inspection checking products for visible issues (scratches, incorrect assembly). Operate equipment and perform measurement and testing using tools to verify compliance with specifications. Also run functional tests on electronic or mechanical components. Analyzing technical drawings and specifications to ensure the product is built correctly. Assist in the separation of non-conforming materials. Continue looking for process improvement, working with manufacturing teams to prevent defects. Perform data entry in specific spreadsheets regarding inspections carried out. Collaborate for the maintenance of quality programs and continuous improvement. Use and apply quality tools for root cause analysis. Comply with Quality, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Systems. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or technical certification. Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics or manufacturing is a plus. Experience: 1 to 2 years relevant experience. Experience in electronics or server hardware assembly . Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment interface. Ability to lift and handle components safely. Qualifications Basic ability to read and interpret inspection standards and procedures. Intermediate technical capacity to define and apply acceptability criteria to products. Advanced knowledge of the Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Advanced knowledge and certification in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Greenbelt). Basic Audit experience. Ability to read and understand operating procedures. Advanced application of quality tools for root cause analysis (e.g., Ishikawa/Fishbone diagram, PDCA, FMEA, 8D).
