Job DescriptionJob Description

Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is currently looking for a hard-working and reliable Quality Inspector on 3rd shift. Come join a global leader in precision die-casting; be part of a team producing exceptional metal components for a diverse range of industries by conducting quality inspections at the die-casting machines and launch your career in the die-casting industry.

3rd Shift Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour plus 15%-night shift premium, Based on experience

3rd Shift Hours: 11:30pm-8:00am

Responsibilities

• Assist operators and fellow inspectors with questions pertaining to quality standards.
• Verification and recording of first off, final, and receiving inspections.
• Visual product analysis and audits.
• Advise Production Supervisors, Quality Engineers, and Quality Manager of any observed nonconformities.
• Document statistical process control (SPC) readings.
• Maintaining lot control traceability documentation during manufacturing process.
• Operates and maintains all measurement equipment that pertains to quality inspections.

Qualifications and Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school; minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. experience and/or training with mechanical and calibration inspection, understanding of SPC, GD&T, measuring and test equipment and statistical analysis.
