Duties:

Candidate will be inspecting finished parts to catch the defects before they are shipped to the customer. Monitor production lines, looking for product flaws or damage, such as, proper roll size, good glue line, core integrity and cleanliness of product.

Prep parent rolls before roll change; cut plastic and cardboard off, fix cores if needed and put in core chucks and pins.

Help keep cores load in core hopper.

Create boxes for reject rolls that didn’t meet quality standards.

Fill boxes with rejected rolls and make sure they are properly labeled and stack on a skid.

Remove and replace bins for end cuts and flat waste.

Communicate with machine operators and supervisors when issues arise.

Fill out production quality reports listing any issues with the machine or product.

Help keep work areas clean and sweep out and around machines and all other work areas.

Requirements:

Experience: One year-plus experience in this type of role.

Education: High School diploma or GED .

Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds regularly.

: English .

Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.

High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.

Must have previous inspection experience.

Ability to work independently.

Warehouse experience a must

1st shift role 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
