Staff Up is seeking a Quality Inspector in Dallas, TX 75247

Pay: $18/HR

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Must be flexible for Saturdays)

Hours: TBD - Depending on workload

The Quality Inspector perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and customer standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, inspection, and quality control within a cable or wire manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished products for compliance with specifications and quality standards (e.g., UL, CSA, RoHS)
• Perform product tests including insulation thickness, conductor resistance, spark testing, and lay-length direction
• Record inspection data accurately and maintain proper documentation
• Verify labeling, printing, and packaging meet company and customer requirements
• Identify and report defects or non-conformities; assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure real-time quality control
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications Required:

• 1+ year of experience in cable or wire production inspection (, not required)
• Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, projectors)
• Basic understanding of quality standards (UL, ISO 9001, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic computer skills (data entry, Excel)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
