This company is located right off Route 30 and easy to get to. They have been growing quickly over the last 2 years and are expanding their shop in 2026, requiring them to grow their team!

Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description:

Seeking a diligent Quality Inspector for 1st shift. This role involves inspecting all in-house manufactured components and finished products, as well as incoming vendor-supplied parts and materials. The ideal candidate will be organized, resourceful, possess excellent communication skills, and function well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of components machined in-house.
  • Inspect all incoming materials to ensure they meet specified tolerances, are of good quality, and free of defects.
  • Perform in-process inspections of general production processes, including cutting, polishing, drilling, welding, and assembly.
  • Complete final project quality control inspections prior to shipping, using fabrication prints to verify measurement accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Identify root causes of non-conformances and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
  • Establish and manage a system to evaluate, monitor, and report quality non-conformance trends.
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures affecting quality control.
  • Coordinate with engineering, machining, and assembly departments to proactively address quality issues.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and measuring tools for inspection.
  • Ability to accurately document and log measurements, reporting potential issues for improvement.
  • Effective communication skills to provide respectful feedback to operators.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in quality inspection or proficiency with precision measuring tools.
  • Openness to training and development in quality inspection processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
