Quality Inspector – CMM (Shifts)\n\nSalary: £42,875\n\nLocation: Denham\n\nWe’re seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with strong CMM inspection experience to join a precision engineering team on a rotating shift pattern. You’ll play a key role in ensuring components meet the highest quality standards through dimensional inspection and testing, while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out dimensional inspection of precision components using both manual measuring equipment and CMMs.\n\nCreate, edit, and run CMM programs to verify components against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.\n\nMaintain inspection records and ensure data is accurately updated within systems.\n\nSupport Lean and 5S activities.\n\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nProven experience in inspection within precision manufacturing/engineering.\n\nSkilled in the use of inspection tools and equipment, including CMMs (programming and operation).\n\nStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply geometrical tolerancing (GD&T).\n\nBasic IT skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems such as SAP).\n\nApprenticeship or equivalent engineering background desirable.\n\nThe Person:\n\nDetail-oriented with excellent accuracy and manual dexterity.\n\nStrong communicator, team player, and able to work independently.\n\nSelf-motivated with a focus on delivering high-quality results.\n\nShift Pattern:\n\n06:00 to 14:00\n\n13:45 to 22:00\n\n(Rotating weekly)\n\nBy applying for this position, you consent to Recruit Engineering processing and storing your personal data, including your CV, contact details, and any other relevant information, for the purpose of providing work-finding services.
