Quality Inspector/CMM Operator
Salary commensurate with experience.

We are currently looking to add another Quality Inspector/CMM Operator to our team. This is a full-time position working under the direct supervision of the Director of Quality.
Job Description: Responsible for completing final inspections prior to shipment, as well as in process inspections to support shop manufacturing. This role involves conducting inspections, testing, and documenting findings to maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Position Specific Expectations

- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask.
- Examine manufactured products, primarily aerospace machined parts, to ensure they parts meet all standards of presentation and quality.
- Identify non-conforming materials and products, document discrepancies, and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Responsibilities
- Daily 1st piece inspection of components and assemblies, as well as in-process inspection duties.
- CMM operation.
- Set up of gaging to support manufacturing and calibration.
Required Training/Education/Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Aerospace Industry. Experience with Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, Bell and Government Agencies is a plus.
- Must have background ion blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Must be proficient in gaging use, inspection methods and a good background in metrology.
- CMM operator experience a plus but will train the right candidate. (Brown & Sharpe PC-DMIS)
