Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team on a contract basis. This role is focused on manual inspection, ensuring the quality and precision of both in-house and supply chain products. Exposure to CMM is desirable.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nConduct manual inspections using hand tools (micrometers, height gauges, shadowgraph, vision systems) to verify parts and assemblies meet specifications.\n\nSupport machinist inspectors and the Quality Team in maintaining manufacturing standards.\n\nPerform final assembly inspections to ensure product quality.\n\nWrite non-conformance reports and support investigations into technical issues.\n\nCollaborate with the team to improve processes; experience with lean initiatives is beneficial but not essential.\n\nSupport basic CMM measurement and report verification (desirable, not essential).\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nHNC/HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience).\n\nStrong expertise in manual inspection methods and equipment.\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings accurately.\n\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively at all levels.\n\nExposure to CMM measurement systems is beneficial.\n\nExperience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus
