Quality Inspector

 We are a busy, fast-paced job shop seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured parts meet customer specifications and industry standards before they leave our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

*Inspect machined and fabricated parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)

*Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
*Perform in-process, first-piece, and final inspections
*Document inspection results and maintain quality records
*Work closely with machinists and production staff to resolve quality issues
*Assist in maintaining ISO/AS quality standards (if applicable)
 

Qualifications:

*Experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment
*Proficiency with measurement equipment and inspection processes
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
*Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards a plus
