Job Title: Quality Inspector



Shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm (Mon - Thurs) and 6:30am - 11:30am (Fri)



Hourly Rate: £13.80 per hour



Location: Leicestershire, LE4



The Quality Inspector Role:



In process (First off / patrol) inspection of machined and fabricated parts

Read engineering drawings & symbols

Inspection of components using both mechanical/manual & CMM devices: Micrometres, verniers, gauges & callipers

Calibration skills for various hand inspection tools - vernier, micrometer

Read customer specifications and understands the importance of accurate measurements

Goods inwards inspection

Visual inspection requirements with attention to detail

Keeping work environment clean and tidy and practising good housekeeping



The Candidate:



Experience working to ISO9001:2015

Able to read engineering drawings & symbols

Experience using inspection tools including micrometres, verniers, gauges, calipers etc

Must be willing to work on any shift pattern in line with business needs

Work well in small team, reporting to Inspection Team Leader

Weld experience desirable

CMM Experience desirable
