Owen Daniels are supporting a leading Aerospace & Manufacturing business in recruiting for a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis.



Location:Cheltenham

Hours: Days, full time with early finish Fridays + excellent benefits package.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 p.a.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.



Role Overview:



As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components and assemblies meet strict aerospace quality standards. You will be inspecting precision-machined parts, utilising a range of measuring equipment, and working closely with the production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.



Key Responsibilities:



Conduct dimensional and visual inspection of CNC-machined components

Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, CMM, and other inspection equipment

Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Carry out in-process, first-off, final, and goods-in inspections

Record and report non-conformances, assist with root cause analysis, and support corrective actions

Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards

Maintain accurate inspection documentation and quality records

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing processRequirements:



Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role

Aerospace industry background

Strong knowledge of geometric tolerances, engineering drawings, and quality standards

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
